Stonehenge’s infrastructure on Azure relied on managed PostgreSQL, Redis Cache, Azure App Services, and file storage. The pay-as-you-go pricing model became unsustainable, with costs rising faster than the business. Additionally, performance optimizations were constrained by pricing, and security risks arose due to public-facing infrastructure components. To solve this, Stonehenge migrated to Hetzner Cloud.
